...but, everyone needs a cape.
In an effort to coax myself into staying home nights and saving some cash-monies for endless rainy days elsewhere, I recently got me the internet. I'm bored of it already (someone needs to teach how to make trolling facebook amusing...) so I decided to try out this whole blogging thing. Basically, I'll be sharing the things I want to see/do whilst away. And anything else that pops into my erratic little brain.

#FAIL
Over the years I've familiarized myself with the feeling of failure. I'm too distracted to ever follow anything through. Fitness regimes, healthy eating, learning a new language, budgeting, reading "The Classics" , you name it I've never finished it. Case in point : this blog-a-roo. I fairly lost interest. And then, last week I got my eyes tested to see if I needed new lenses for my spectaculars (spectacles) as I suspected. Turns out I was right, yay me, I'm getting blinder. So of course I had to pick out some new frames and even more of course I had to pick out a $762 pair. Add on the lenses and, essentially, I dropped a nice $962 on reading glasses. Now it just so happens that my optometrist (a trendy little boutique run by a Father and Son duo from London, Blink 138 - look it up!) is on one of my favorite shopping strips, Oxford Street, Leederville. Not only did I break the bank picking up my glasses, I also lay-by'ed a $400 cape. I didn't stay home and I did NOT save money.
