Thank god we are the way we are. I shudder to think how these people must feel!
In an effort to coax myself into staying home nights and saving some cash-monies for endless rainy days elsewhere, I recently got me the internet. I'm bored of it already (someone needs to teach how to make trolling facebook amusing...) so I decided to try out this whole blogging thing. Basically, I'll be sharing the things I want to see/do whilst away. And anything else that pops into my erratic little brain.

#firstworldproblems
I can't decide if I want to spend my day off drinking Pina Coladas or Pimms Punch. It's a big deal because it's my first day off in 28 days. Yep, you heard, I worked four weeks straight. Three out of seven days of the week I worked at my office job and my bar job so I need to make sure I do this down time right. It's a such a nice sunny day I know I want something fresh and fruity... I just can't decide which I want more..
Malibu - or - Pimms
Pina Colada - or - Punch

Pina Colada - or - Punch
Oh, the decisions!
The Hunger.
OMG, I just woke up and I'm positively famished. I realise complaining isn't going to get food in my belly but the trouble is, I've been putting off food shopping so long I've only got a potato. And I don't feel like potato for breakfast. That's one thing I miss more than most about travelling - having breakfast either provided by the hostel - or - at the cafe next door to the hostel. Right now I'm facing a twenty minute walk down to IGA, half an hour of browsing the meagre aisles for gluten free, vegetarian goods and a twenty minute walk back before I can even think about eating. AND don't forget the "but, I just woke up!" dilemma. Like, do I have to shower before I leave the house? I mean, it is only 8am. And if I don't shower then I don't want to put clean clothes on. But I can't leave the house in dirty clothes, can I? I guess that means I'm showering. Drats.
If I were in Paris I'd just duck next door for a croissant, or a crepe.
If I were in Paris I'd just duck next door for a croissant, or a crepe.
OR in Berlin I'd definitely drop by Marx Caffe for a cup of tea and the farmers breakfast!
In Vienna, as boring as it sounds, I was so excited to have cereals at the hostel.
And in Venice they served the most amazing berry and yoghurt trifle I have ever seen or tasted in my life.
Heck, even the toast in Florence would thrill me right now!
But, no matter where in the world I am, nothing beats a nice hot, creamy, cafe latte.
Oh dear lord, somebody please get me to a Cafe?

Whoa, Get Me To A Party!
Apparently I'm a "Dorkasaurus" because I say things like "Okie Dokie" and "Ciao-abunga!"
Well hot damn! I guess it's true!

Aloha!
I'm going to Honolulu. Omifrigedywopingod! I'm a little bit excited. You see, It will be midway into my trip to America and my best friend in all of the world will be meeting me there! We see each other, or at the very least talk to each other, everyday and by the time Honolulu (OMidfrigedwoopingod!) comes around we won't have seen each other for two and half months - officially the longest we've ever been apart. It's going to be a very romantical affair... Sunsets/sunrises on the beach, cocktails on the beach, surf lessons on the beach, beach on the beach. I'm going to the Aloha state and I can't frikken' wait!
Aloha!
